About Me
Who am I?
I am Austin Weedor, a cybersecurity professional, author, and U.S. Army veteran with over 16 years of experience in technology, specializing in cyber risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. My journey spans war zones and boardrooms — shaped by my resilience during Liberia's civil conflict, my service in the U.S. Army, and my professional rise in corporate cybersecurity leadership.
My Journey
Born in Liberia and shaped by conflict and migration, I learned early on the value of adaptability and perseverance.
After moving to the U.S., I completed my post-secondary education, and I served in the Army as a Forward Signal Systems Support Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), overseeing mission-critical battlefield communication systems in Afghanistan.
This experience laid the groundwork for my transition to cybersecurity, where I discovered purpose in defending digital terrain with the same rigor I once applied on the battlefield.
